LED LIGHTING
LED is the future for underwater lighting. Technology has moved on massively in the last few years and costs have come down considerably.
A typical LED light will use upto 70% LESS power than a halogen bulb.
LED lights will typically last more than 25,000 hours compared with 2,000hrs for a halogen bulb.
LED lights are at the blue end of the UV spectrum rather than the yellow end as are halogens, therefore giving a more true white light and a better look to the pool water.
Think of LED lights being similar to that of car Xenon headlights compared to standard halogens. The effect is the same and magnified underwater.
